Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Senior Advanced Project Engineer in Tempe, AZ to manage cross-functional engineering projects that support Tempe product families. You will act as Design Authority, oversee end-to-end execution, and align engineering activities with program goals and quality standards.

You will report to the Product Support Engineering Manager and work on a hybrid schedule, leveraging your leadership experience to mentor teams and drive risk management to keep milestones on track

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as science, technology, engineering or mathematics
• 6+ years of aerospace engineering project management experience
• Knowledge of aerospace engineering principles and project management
• Knowledge of MS Office and AS9100 quality standards
• Experience in risk management, problem-solving, and coordinating cross-functional teams
• Ability to maintain technical integrity and independent engineering judgement

Responsibilities

• Ensure product integrity as Design Authority of all Tempe product families
• Lead end to end project execution for all product support activities
• Support the design integrity of supplier transitions
• Lead as a technical liaison to support the R&O and OEM factories in execution
• Support risk assessment and mitigation activities to maintain project timelines and quality standards
