Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC is seeking a Senior Production Engineer in Phoenix to drive development, optimization, and production of aerospace and industrial gas turbine components for repair and OEM applications. You will lead technical projects, push continuous improvement, and develop manufacturing processes to enhance quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical or related engineering discipline.
5+ years of aerospace, industrial gas turbine, or manufacturing engineering experience.
Experience developing or supporting repair processes (brazing, plating, coating, welding).
Strong project management, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
Experience driving process improvements through Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
Ability to analyze production challenges, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Experience supporting product development, production support, and process maturation activities.
Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.
Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (FAA or similar).

Responsibilities

Lead development and improvement of repair processes for turbine, compressor, and combustor components.
Provide technical support for production operations and troubleshoot challenges.
Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools and problem-solving methods.
Lead projects focused on process optimization, cost reduction, quality improvement, and capacity enhancement.
Own technical aspects of assigned production processes and implement improvements.
Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Commercial teams to develop and industrialize new repair solutions.
Identify, develop, and implement tooling, equipment, and process improvements.
Prepare technical reports, specifications, procedures, and manufacturing documentation.
Present updates and recommendations to stakeholders.
Support NPI activities and transition new repairs into production.
