Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine LLC in Windsor, CT is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across manufacturing, repair, and overhaul of turbine engine components. You will lead audits, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with production and development teams.

The role emphasizes problem solving, DMAIC methodology, and maintaining accreditation while delivering strong customer service and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, aerospace, or related field) required.
• 7+ years of quality engineering experience; aerospace industry preferred.
• Strong RCCA knowledge and use of problem-solving tools.
• Advanced organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and promote a strong quality culture across the organization.
• Audit quality management system, processes, suppliers, and compliance with external requirements.
• Provide quality, technical, and interpretation support to internal and external customers/suppliers.
• Collaborate with production and development teams to maintain product supply and introduce new products.
• Deliver exceptional customer service with timely responsiveness and full compliance.
• Improves quality management system documentation, procedures, and systems.
• Develop robust corrective actions to reduce rework and prevent escapes.
• Maintain site-level accreditations to ensure business continuity.
