Job summary

Chromalloy seeks a Production Engineer to support repair and overhaul of critical gas turbine engine components. You will ensure product quality, process capability, on-time delivery, and drive operational performance while leading continuous improvement efforts in heat treatment, brazing, blending, grit blasting, and plasma spray processes.

You will provide technical support to manufacturing operations, develop tooling and procedures, and mentor teams to apply Lean and Six Sigma methods across

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or a science-based field required.
• Minimum 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience supporting production processes and implementing process improvements.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience conducting root cause and corrective action investigations.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with operations, quality, maintenance, and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day engineering support for production operations.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective action activities.
• Drive production readiness and process capability for equipment in assigned areas.
• Design, develop, and implement tooling, fixtures, gauges, and process improvements.
• Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, operating procedures, and training materials.
• Support employee training on equipment operation, process controls, and best practices.
