Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Senior Machining Process Engineer to provide technical and production support for gas turbine systems in aerospace and industrial applications. You will develop and optimize CNC machining processes, create fixtures and tools, and troubleshoot existing processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3D CAD Modeling and CAM Programming (Siemens NX Preferred).
• Experience with Multi-Axis Milling and Grinding.
• Familiarity with Continuous Improvement, Lean tools & methodologies, and strong project management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a multi-disciplinary team environment and deliver results.
• Knowledge of FAA Guidelines for PMA and RS-DER Requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop fixturing, tooling, and CNC programs for Milling and Grinding of turbine components.
• Collaborate with Operations and Quality teams to ensure flawless production and perfect part quality.
• Apply CI and Lean tools and methodologies to continuously improve our processes. Identify, develop and implement tooling/equipment improvements.
• Lead project teams working on new designs, repairs, and process enhancements.
• Utilize project management skills to drive successful outcomes within technical, budgetary, and schedule requirements.
• Engage with the Chromalloy Engineering team to develop new parts, repairs, and cutting-edge technologies.
• Implement innovative methods that positively impact business metrics.
