Job summary

Chromalloy Corporation in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to champion safety, quality, and on-time delivery within a high‑tech aerospace environment. You will drive production metrics, manage WIP with planning, maintain stock levels, and lead cross-functional teams including HR, Safety, Engineering and Maintenance to meet monthly financial plans and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates hold at least an Associate degree, 4+ years in repair/manufacturing, and an A&P

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 4+ years experience in repair station or manufacturing.
• A&P license or repairmen qualifications under 14 CFR Part 65.
• Experience with aircraft component processes including machining, welding, vacuum and coating.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen and process improvement.
• Proficient in Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint and ERP systems.
• Strong communication, ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety and perfect quality in all operations.
• Drive operational metrics, on-time delivery and productivity.
• Measure and report daily/weekly production performance data.
• Maintain stocks and coordinate with planning to meet plans.
• Provide cross-functional communication across HR, Safety, Engineering and Maintenance.
• Ensure 5S practices and lean improvements are sustained.
