Job summary

The role emphasizes delivering quality parts on time while optimizing inventory and contract management. You will interface with internal and external customers and suppliers, develop RFQs, negotiate contracts, and drive metrics and training initiatives to improve performance across Spirit Commercial’s manufacturing

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Experience interfacing with customers and suppliers to ensure on-time, quality parts.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and SAP/MRP systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Synchronize supply chain for obtaining goods and services for the company.
• Interface with internal and external customers and suppliers to ensure quality parts are delivered, to the right place, at the right time.
• Negotiate and award contracts, manage post-award supplier activities and RFQs.
• Manage inventory levels, purchase orders, and supplier performance.
• Develop and implement metrics, training and training materials.
