Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. in Wichita, Kansas, seeks a procurement professional to support sourcing and supplier management for aerospace manufacturing. The role focuses on RFQs, negotiations, contract awards, and supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery for production needs.

You will partner with internal teams, manage complex supplier relationships, and drive cost savings and risk mitigation across the supply chain in a union-represented environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, purchasing, or related experience, preferably in aerospace/manufacturing.
• Strong communication and relationship-building across all levels of an organization.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical, data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret data and support decisions.
• Advanced Excel skills (filters, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and SAP ERP experience.

Responsabilités

• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality materials are delivered on time for production.
• Lead sourcing activities including RFQs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, contracts.
• Serve as authorized representative for procurement transactions and purchase orders.
• Monitor inventory levels, supplier performance, and material demand.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to identify cost savings, efficiency, and risk mitigation.
• Analyze supply chain data to optimize material availability and business objectives.
• Collaborate across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams.
