Colonial Staffing Group Inc. in Newport News, VA seeks an Aerospace Engineering Manager to lead mechanical design and structural engineering efforts, directing teams in analysis, substantiation of aircraft modifications, and the preparation of engineering drawings.

The role emphasizes FAA compliance, resource management, and mentorship of engineers to deliver accurate project estimates and technical standards in an onsite, full-time setting.

Competenze

• B.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of relevant aircraft structural analysis experience.
• Engineering leadership and team management experience.
• FAA Part 23, 25, 27, and/or 29 experience.
• Part 135/145 MRO experience highly preferred.
• FEMAP, NX/NASTRAN, CAD and PLM experience.
• Military airworthiness and MIL-HDBK-516C experience a plus.
• U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for Secret Clearance.

Mansioni

• Lead Mechanical Design and Structural/Stress Engineering teams.
• Oversee structural analysis and substantiation of aircraft modifications and installations.
• Review and approve stress reports, structural analyses, and engineering drawings.
• Ensure compliance with FAA and military airworthiness requirements.
