Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of relevant aircraft structural analysis experience.
• Engineering leadership and team management experience.
• FAA Part 23, 25, 27, and/or 29 experience.
• Part 135/145 MRO experience highly preferred.
• FEMAP, NX/NASTRAN, CAD and PLM experience.
• Military airworthiness and MIL-HDBK-516C experience a plus.
• U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mechanical Design and Structural/Stress Engineering teams.
• Oversee structural analysis and substantiation of aircraft modifications and installations.
• Review and approve stress reports, structural analyses, and engineering drawings.
• Ensure compliance with FAA and military airworthiness requirements.
• Manage engineering resources, labor forecasts, and project estimates.
• Develop engineering standards and mentor technical teams.

Overview

Seeking an experienced engineering leader with a strong aircraft structural analysis, mechanical design, and airworthiness background. Experience supporting aircraft modifications within a Part 135/145 MRO environment is highly desirable.
