Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for our Torrance, CA site to develop and mature manufacturing processes for aerospace hardware.

The role requires NPI involvement, DFMA reviews, tooling design, and continuous improvement to achieve high yield and quality. The position supports legacy programs and production environments, with opportunities to implement Automation and Industry 4.0 concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in manufacturing/industrial/mechanical engineering with aerospace experience.
• Minimum 6 years progressive experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably aerospace cylindrical components.

Responsibilities

• Develop and mature manufacturing processes for production hardware.
• Perform DFMA reviews during New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Create tooling for operations requiring fixtures and cutting.
• Lead process prove-out, troubleshoot, and revise to achieve quality and yield.
