Job summary

Moog Inc. in Torrance, CA, seeks a Product (Manufacturing) Engineer to support production programs for military flight control components and systems.

You will provide engineering support to assembly and test personnel, maintain product integrity, and influence cost while working onsite with a 9/80 schedule option. The role requires a Mechanical/Manufacturing/Aerospace engineering degree and 3+ years in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in aerospace or other regulated industry preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Active DoD Secret clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear production assembly/test instructions to operations, including Work Instructions and test procedures.
• Evaluate and implement equipment to meet production requirements (fixtures, tooling, flow lines, test equipment).
• Maintain product integrity and quality by collaborating with Moog resources and performing MRB analyses.
• Track metrics like first pass yield and product cost to support department goals.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers on complex projects or issues; assist in Change Review Board processes.
