Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace US LLC is seeking a Sr. Advanced Hardware Design Engineer to design and develop high‑reliability hardware for aerospace applications.

You will support the Integrated Flight Deck Systems group and contribute to HUD development, guiding prototypes through production in a 3/2 hybrid schedule from our Phoenix location. Responsibilities include cross‑functional collaboration, hardware validation, and mentoring of junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 7+ years hardware experience.
• Master’s degree with 5+ years hardware experience.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency due to export control/ITAR.
• Expertise in schematic capture, hardware testing, and design verification.
• Strong analog/digital circuit design, signal integrity, and power management.
• Experience with hardware validation and aerospace standards compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware design from concept through production.
• Define hardware requirements with cross-functional teams.
• Perform schematic capture, PCB design support, and validation.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Interface with stakeholders to meet customer and regulatory needs.
• Stay current with hardware tech trends to drive innovation.
