Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking an Electronics Engineer Specialist to lead the end-to-end design of aerospace electronic hardware. The role focuses on developing and integrating electronics for optical fuel sensors, debris monitoring, and power distribution control modules, guiding projects from concept through certification.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in electronics hardware design and development and leading complex hardware projects from concept through production.
  • This position requires access to export-controlled information and is limited to U.S. persons as defined by regulations.
  • Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.
  • Experience with embedded architecture and system/hardware architectures for complex electronic systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end development of electronic hardware for Aerospace division products from concept to production readiness.
  • Coordinate with systems, mechanical, software/firmware engineers and project managers across programs.
  • Ensure designs meet aerospace requirements and certifications including RTCA/DO-160, MIL-STD environmental/EMI/EMC, and RTCA/DO-254.
