Job summary

Moog in Blacksburg, VA is seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to design and develop electronic hardware for aerospace and defense applications. You will work with cross-functional teams and suppliers through concept to implementation, reporting to Electrical Engineering Manager.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in EE and 5+ years of hardware design, with circuit design, PCB development, embedded hardware, or system integration experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience developing electronic hardware products and systems.
• Experience designing electronic hardware from concept through testing and implementation.
• Familiarity with circuit design, PCB development, embedded hardware, system integration, or hardware verification.

Responsibilities

• Design hardware schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs.
• Conduct hardware integration, verification, troubleshooting, and testing.
• Support technical project planning including proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and design reviews.
• Ensure traceability between customer requirements and system requirements.
• Develop engineering test requirements and unit-, subsystem-, and system-level test plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the product lifecycle.
