Job summary

Xometry is seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Engineer to support Sales by bringing aerospace and defense engineering insight to customer engagements. The role blends customer interaction, technical depth, and project oversight within the Pre-Sales Engineering group.

You will partner with Account Executives, help scope and qualify opportunities, and contribute to competitive quotes. Expect travel to customer sites 25%–35% and hybrid work arrangements in Mountain or Pacific time zones.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of aerospace and defense engineering/manufacturing experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Familiarity with ISO9001, AS9100d, ITAR, NIST, and related compliance.
• Experience using Xometry services from a customer or partner perspective is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to drive account growth and retention.
• Discover, digest, organize and execute major projects.
• Join onsite customer visits when appropriate.
• Identify and address manufacturing challenges (including DFM).
• Assist Pre-Sales with knowledge gathering and quote preparation.
• Provide project management and oversight on complex opportunities.
