Job summary

Xometry is seeking an early-career Engineer to join the Aerospace & Defense team as an Associate Solutions Engineer. You will support quoting, BOMs, RFQs, and specs, while helping develop internal cost models and tooling to boost accuracy and speed.

You’ll collaborate across engineering, sales, and operations to deliver robust manufacturing solutions. The role emphasizes hands-on learning, supplier coordination, and documentation excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related technical field required.
• Demonstrated foundation in manufacturing principles, CNC Machining, Additive Manufacturing, Wire harness Assembly, Sheet Metal and Welding.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for quoting, data organization, and creation of BOMs, RFQs, and specs for customer programs.
• Assist with internal cost-modeling and quoting-tool development to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Coordinate with suppliers and track quality documents through the solution lifecycle from award to delivery.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to bridge engineering, sales, and operations.
• Lead capstone projects to improve process efficiency, such as automating quoting workflows or building dashboards.
• Develop and demonstrate best practices in manufacturing disciplines relevant to customers and partners.
