Job summary

Xometry in North Bethesda, MD is seeking an Associate Solutions Engineer to support quoting, documentation, and internal tool development. The role links engineering, sales, and operations to deliver manufacturing solutions for aerospace and defense programs.

You will work on data management, BOMs, RFQs, and supplier coordination while collaborating across teams to improve efficiency and outcomes. This is an early-career engineering role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or related technical field.
• Foundational knowledge in CNC machining, additive manufacturing, sheet metal, and welding.
• Experience in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and GD&T interpretation.
• Strong data management skills with Excel/Google Sheets/ERP/CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, BOMs, RFQs, and specification reviews for complex programs.
• Assist with cost-modeling and quoting-tool development to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate supplier communication and track quality documents through the lifecycle.
• Bridge engineering, sales, and operations in cross-functional meetings.
