Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Torrance, CA is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Welding Engineer onsite to drive quality and efficiency across our production operations. You will develop strategies to optimize processes, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and mentor teams while collaborating with cross-functional groups to deliver high‑quality aerospace products.

This role requires a bachelor's in a technical field, hands-on welding expertise (TIG, electron beam), and proficiency with CAD tools like

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• Proven experience in advanced manufacturing, welding process optimization, and lean manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of welding technologies such as TIG Welding, Electron beam welding, welding automation.
• Knowledge of industry specifications such as AWS D17.1 and AMS2750.
• Familiar with GD&T concepts and symbols.
• Experience with data analysis and statistical process control.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Proven track record of continuous improvement and project execution.
• Familiar with NX or similar CAD software.
