Job summary

Honeywell is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Senior (Finance) to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement at the Torrance, CA site. Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Senior (Finance)

As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Senior Advanced, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize production processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence. You will report directly to our Engineering Director, and you'll work out of our Torrance, CA location on an onsite work schedule.

In this role, you will impact our manufacturing processes by optimizing production workflows and driving continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to increased efficiency, reduced costs, and improved quality in our operations. Your expertise will help us stay at the forefront of advanced manufacturing technologies and ensure that we deliver innovative and high-quality products to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee advanced machining processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Develop and implement NC programs to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Analyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • Proven experience in NC programming, process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong knowledge of NC programming in NX and using Vericut verification software.
  • Familiar with GD&T concepts and symbols.
  • Experience with data analysis and statistical process control.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proven track record of continuous improvement and project execution.
  • Familiar with NX or similar CAD software.
WE VALUE
  • Advanced Engineering degrees like ME (Mechanical Engineering), EE (Electrical Engineering), IE (Industrial Engineer) or Manufacturing Engineer.
  • Experience in driving process improvements and achieving results.
  • Ability to think strategically and implement innovative solutions.
  • Experience programming 3, 4, and 5 axes mills.
  • Experience programming lathes.
  • Experience, using NX programming software.
  • Experience, machining, aluminum, titanium and Inconel aerospace parts.
  • Experience, creating work holding fixtures and selecting cutting tools for machining aerospace components.

The annual base salary range for this position is $119,600 to $177,100. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
