Job summary

Rivian seeks an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to bridge design and high-volume production of electro-mechanical assemblies. You will collaborate with internal designers, contract manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure on-time, high-yield production with cost-efficiency.

The role emphasizes DFM, automation development, supplier engagement, and industrialization, requiring strong problem-solving, CAD skills, and travel to partner sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or manufacturing engineering.
• 7+ years in manufacturing engineering, industrialization, or DFM with automation focus.
• Experience with precision joining, molding/casting, and thermal interface materials.

Responsibilities

• Design for Manufacturing with internal design teams and external CM partners.
• Lead automation development and machine qualification (Cp/Cpk, GR&R).
• Engage suppliers and drive industrialization, process controls, and yield improvement.
