Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field is required; experience in adult education is preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret program materials and to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Strong interpersonal skills to encourage student persistence and success.

Responsibilities

• Hold pre-enrollment informational sessions and orientation for adult education classes.
• Develop a plan of study with students based on skills, interests and goals.
• Provide quality instruction to maximize student learning.
• Coordinate and deliver ongoing professional development for staff as needed.
• Recruitment and retention activities, including marketing for ABE/GED and AO-K programs.
