Children's Aid is seeking an Adult Program Instructor to support parents and community members in pursuing personal and educational goals. You may teach English, GED prep, literacy, or enrichment activities like crafts, fitness, or dance to foster an inclusive, empowering environment.

This role strengthens ties between the school and community, helping adults thrive academically, creatively, and personally. Schedule may include in-person or hybrid work to facilitate collaboration and impact.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching adults in academic, vocational, or enrichment areas (e.g., GED, ESL, yoga, dance, sewing).
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and promote the organization's Mission, Vision, and Core Values to ensure alignment with policies.
• Build strong relationships with parents and community members, encouraging trust and participation.
• Create an inclusive, culturally responsive classroom for adult learning.
• Design and deliver instruction using group and individualized methods.
• Teach adult basic education and/or vocational/enrichment skills.
• Support adults from diverse backgrounds, helping them overcome barriers.
• Maintain effective classroom management and engagement.
• Encourage adults to feel welcome in the school environment.
