Job summary

Central Community College seeks an Adult Education Coordinator to oversee ESL, ABE and GED programs across several counties. You will supervise staff, coordinate intake and enrollment, and ensure accurate recordkeeping while maintaining compliance with state requirements.

You will work with campus teams, community partners and the workforce system to support adult learners and transitions under state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
• Experience with ESL, ABE, GED programs encouraged.
• Administrative supervisory role with minimal classroom instruction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth day‑to‑day operation of the AE program across counties.
• Coordinate intake, enrollment and orientation for Grand Island students.
• Maintain records and confidentiality of student progress.
• Track NDE testing and assist with external reporting and compliance.
• Collaborate with various campus and community partners to support learners.
