Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Technical Specialist or Senior Homologation Engineer to lead ADS safety case reviews and supply defensible, audit-ready safety arguments for Level 3/4 autonomous driving systems. You will collaborate with safety, validation, legal, policy and product teams globally.

The role requires ISO 26262, SOTIF and regulatory expertise, with responsibilities spanning regulatory submissions, safety evidence, and cross-functional coordination across engineering domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical engineering field; 5+ years in automotive engineering, autonomous driving, functional safety or homologation.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 26262, ISO 21448, UL 4600, ISO 34502 and Safety Management Systems.
• Experience developing, reviewing or assessing safety cases for safety-critical systems.
• Valid US Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead independent technical review and assessment of ADS safety cases for Level 3 and 4 autonomous driving systems.
• Coordinate collection and integration of safety evidence across engineering and validation teams.
• Develop and improve safety assurance methodologies, templates, and best practices.
• Represent Lucid in regulatory discussions and submissions, ensuring audit-ready safety artifacts.
