Lucid Motors is seeking a Technical Specialist or Senior Homologation Engineer to lead safety case reviews for Level 3/4 ADS and to engage with regulators worldwide. You will drive evidence-based safety arguments, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure audit-ready documentation across the safety lifecycle.

The role requires deep knowledge of safety engineering, regulatory compliance, and autonomy technologies, with on-site work at Lucid facilities in Newark, CA or Phoenix, AZ.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Systems, Aerospace or related field.
• 5+ years in automotive engineering, autonomous driving, functional safety, homologation or regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 26262, ISO 21448, UL 4600, ISO 34502 and Safety Management Systems.

Mansioni

• Lead independent technical review and assessment of ADS safety cases for Level 3 and 4 systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to strengthen safety arguments and identify gaps or weaknesses.
• Ensure safety claims are supported by traceable, defensible evidence from tests, simulations, and field data.
• Coordinate collection and integration of safety evidence across safety, systems, and validation teams.
• Maintain evidence traceability, configuration management, and lifecycle of safety artifacts.
• Drive closure of safety findings and improvements across cross-functional teams.
