Job summary

Walgreens seeks a Senior Adobe Solutions Architect in Deerfield, IL to lead end-to-end architecture for Adobe Journey Optimizer implementations and to design scalable customer journeys across email, SMS, push notifications, and other channels.

The role develops architecture blueprints and roadmaps aligned with enterprise standards, defines customer profiles, segmentation, and identity resolution using Adobe Experience Platform, and drives reviews to ensure governance and consistency across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT experience.
• At least 2 years of leadership in server- or client-side tech.
• Experience with domain-specific architecture concepts.
• At least 1 year in domain-specific Architecture.
• Experience working with matrix teams across time zones.
• Ability to promote guiding development principles and influence teams.
• Willing to travel up to 10% for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture for Adobe Journey Optimizer implementations and enhancements.
• Design scalable customer journey solutions across email, SMS, push notifications, direct mail, IVR, and other channels.
• Develop architecture blueprints, solution designs, and technical roadmaps.
• Define customer profile, segmentation, identity resolution, and real-time personalization strategies using Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
• Drive architecture reviews and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
• Architect customer journeys that support acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, and servicing use cases.
• Establish best practices for segmentation, offer decisioning, personalization, journey design, and campaign execution.
• Optimize customer experience through real-time triggers and behavioral events.
