Qualifications

• Senior-level hands-on practitioner with extensive, daily operational experience implementing and supporting Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) modules.
• Experience configuring, deploying, and supporting Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and RTCDP in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of data lakes, SQL/PL-SQL, and data validation across Snowflake to AEP pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on creation, testing, and deployment of complex journeys in AJO.
• Implement real-time, event-driven journey triggers and align event-tracking schemas.
• Provide production support for daily AJO and RTCDP operations and resolve data issues.
• Query data lakes with Data Distiller and AEP Query Service for derivative datasets.
• Support RTCDP audience segmentation, identity stitching, and data ingestion validation.
• Build and manage AJO Decision Management rules and prioritization strategies.
• Map journey data to CJA for attribution and insights.
• Configure suppression logic, frequency caps, and cooldown rules.
• Develop custom actions, webhooks, and integrations for campaign execution.

Job Description

Ahands-on Senior Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) Engineer to drive the day-today configuration, deployment, and ongoing production support of client marketing technology stack.

Handle daily AJO implementation, journey creation, offer authoring, troubleshooting, and operational health, backed by deep practical familiarity with Adobe Real-Time CDP (RTCDP), Adobe Data Distiller, the broader AEP ecosystem, and daily production operations.

Own the implementation from end to end, provide strategic guidance on best practices, and consult with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into high-impact, data-driven customer journeys.

Job Responsibilities

• Day-to-Day AJO Implementation & Execution:Lead the hands-on creation, testing, and deployment of complex multi-step journeys, transactional triggers, and batch campaigns within Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).
• Event-Driven Strategy & Implementation:Implement real-time, event-driven journey triggers. Align event tracking schemas to capture high-frequency touchpoints, ensuring seamless data flow from initial trigger to multi-channel execution.
• Production Support & Troubleshooting:Act as the primary technical point of contact for daily AJO and RTCDP operational issues, diagnosing flow failures, payload errors, delivery discrepancies, and data sync gaps.
• Data Distiller & SQL Operations:Leverage Adobe Data Distiller and AEP Query Service to query data lakes, build derivative datasets, perform advanced data analysis, and validate data health using Standard SQL and PL/SQL.
• Real-Time CDP (RTCDP) Operations:Support daily audience segmentation, profile merge policies, identity stitching, and data ingestion validation within RTCDP.
• Decision Management & Personalization:Build, update, and manage AJO Decision Management rules, fallback offers, and ranking strategies to deliver hyper-personalized crosschannel messaging.
• Data Validation & Pipeline Tracing:Execute hands-on data validation and quality checks, specifically reconciling data pipelines and movement from Snowflake to AEP.
• CJA Reporting & Analytics:Map journey event data into Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) to enable comprehensive attribution, behavioral reporting, and performance insights.
• Suppression & Governance:Configure global suppression logic, frequency capping, and cooldown rules to ensure brand compliance and optimal customer experience.
• Custom Development & Integration:Configure and maintain custom actions, webhook integrations, and lightweight custom code extensions required for campaign execution.
