Job summary

Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA, is seeking a Senior Assistant/Associate Director, Admission Technology to support technological systems and processes for undergraduate admissions, overseeing data flows, dashboards, and AI tool usage (not for review of applications) to improve efficiency.

You will manage internal admission databases, build import/export processes, maintain Slate integrations, and collaborate with university tech partners to deliver reliable data transfer and reporting to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Stellar customer service mindset when working with prospective students, families, and counselors.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Experience with Slate CRM and related technical systems preferred.
• Experience with Slate Integrations (SFTP, SIS, Data Integrations, CRM connectors, APIs and middleware solutions).
• Proven ability to communicate with internal and external constituents.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to convey Boston College’s Jesuit mission.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal admission databases.
• Build data import and export processes.
• Manage data flow/feeds and technical elements of Slate hosted applications.
• Maintain and update workflows, queries and rules.
• Troubleshoot issues across technological systems.
• Serve as office expert on evolving AI tools for staff use.
• Develop and maintain relationships with University tech partners.
• Develop dashboards and build reports to support divisional goals.
• Maintain an application processing caseload and identify enhancements.
