Job summary

Boston College is seeking a Senior Assistant/Associate Director, Admission Technology to support technology systems and operational processes for undergraduate admissions. You will manage databases, build data flows, and enhance workflows for about 40,000 annual applications.

You will develop dashboards, reports, and integrations while partnering with University tech staff. Strong SQL, Slate CRM, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset when interacting with prospective students and families.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Experience with Slate CRM and related technical systems preferred.
• Experience with Slate Integrations (SFTP, SIS, Data Integrations, CRM connectors, APIs and middleware solutions, ProSam).
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Able to translate technical needs into actionable processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal admission databases and data workflows.
• Build data import/export processes and data feeds for Slate applications.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support goals.
• Troubleshoot issues across admissions tech systems.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on evolving AI tools (not used to review apps).
• Collaborate with university tech partners to ensure accurate data transfer.
• Maintain an application processing caseload and support operational enhancements.
