County of Lancaster is seeking an experienced administrative leader to assume responsibility for Adult Probation and Parole Services (APPS) in the Director's absence, coordinating with Deputy Directors and reporting to the Director. The role oversees supervision, case management, and agency-wide operations to ensure compliance and effective service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field required; master's preferred.
• Five years of probation or related field experience, two years at full performance level.
• Two years supervising staff of human service employees.
• Combination of education and experience accepted as equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Deliver administrative leadership and supervise supervisors across divisions.
• Determine organizational philosophy and plan/implement operation direction.
• Oversee legal compliance including DNA processes, case law updates, Megan's Law, and record retention.
• Review and authorize fiscal and HR processes, including recruitment, budgets, grants, and funding.
• Provide leadership in implementing evidence-based practices in the agency.
• Develop and implement agency-wide policies and procedures in line with Court directives.
• Collaborate with APPS Business Manager on performance management and evaluation.
• Assign work and coordinate with administrative staff and committees.
• Represent the Court and liaise with county/state agencies and organizations.
