Job summary

Truist is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide essential administrative support and perform clerical tasks with minimal guidance in a Regular, first-shift role in New York. The position requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, along with proficient use of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities include preparing correspondence, managing files, coordinating travel and meetings, handling confidential information, and assisting with budgets and departmental

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent education and related training.
  • Seven years of progressively more complex clerical experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and math skills.
  • Exhibited ability to work independently.
  • Ability to deal with complex situations which require sound judgment.
  • Ability to operate office equipment (e.g. copier, fax).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Access and PowerPoint
  • Completion of certifications that are specific to industry

The annual base salary for this position in New York is $70,000-$110,000

General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation:

All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.
