Job summary

Beehive Industries is expanding its Knoxville, TN manufacturing team to support advanced metal additive processes. The Additive Manufacturing Technician will assist with LPBF and MBJ systems, setup, powder handling, and daily production tasks in a regulated aerospace setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work safely in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn manufacturing software systems.
• Willingness to wear required PPE including respirators, gloves, and protective clothing.
• Ability to work overtime or shift schedules as required by production demands.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain compliance with aerospace quality and safety standards.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issues security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Responsibilities

• Assist with machine setup, build preparation, material loading, and powder handling.
• Perform routine machine cleaning, preventative maintenance, and housekeeping.
• Support powder recycling, sieving, storage, and material traceability requirements.
• Follow all quality procedures, documentation requirements, and production standards.
• Complete production records, inspection documentation, and work order tracking.
• Perform basic visual inspections of parts and report defects.
• Follow safety procedures related to metal powders, PPE, and industrial equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery.
• Work with engineers, quality, and production personnel.
• Assist in inventory management and material movement as needed.
• Operate hoists or other material handling equipment when trained and authorized
