Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a qualified Performance Specialist to guarantee ADAS performance and set core targets across their capabilities. The role involves competitive benchmarking, vehicle assessments, and management of technical requirements for ADAS features on current and future vehicle programs.

You will work with the ADAS simulation team to enhance requirement modeling, develop validation plans for test engineering, and ensure calibration with internal teams and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from ABET-accredited university.
• 5 years of related engineering experience.
• 3 years in ADAS product development.

Responsibilities

• Set core objective performance targets for ADAS features based on benchmarks and VOC.
• Coordinate with ADAS Functional Science to improve requirements simulation.
• Create and support validation plans for test engineering.
• Provide impact assessment for product/feature changes.
• Prepare materials and vehicles for leadership ride-and-drive events.
• Identify and resolve cross-functional issues affecting ADAS performance.
• Support target setting and waterfall processes from Customer Car Profile.
• Develop and validate ADAS system performance on vehicles.
• Collaborate on calibration with other departments and suppliers.
• Collect objective data to quantify subjective gaps to targets.
• Build ADAS know-how and support road map development.
• Benchmark main ADAS systems of competitors.
