Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a qualified Performance Specialist to guarantee ADAS system performance and set core targets across programs. You will benchmark against competitive sets, coordinate with the ADAS Functional Science team to enhance simulation capability, and develop validation plans for test engineering.

You will also identify cross-functional issues, support roadmap development, and help prepare vehicles for leadership ride-and-drive events.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited or equivalent BS in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• 5 years of related engineering experience.
• 3 years in ADAS product development.
• Proficient with Google Docs, Sheets, and Pages.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to major strategy shifts while maintaining continuity.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally 1–2 weeks.
• Market knowledge of automotive ADAS, trends, and safety protocols (NCAP/IIHS/NHTSA).
• Clean driving record and ability to test-drive vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Set core objective performance targets for ADAS features based on benchmarks and market knowledge.
• Collaborate with ADAS Functional Science to improve requirement simulation capability.
• Create and support validation plans for the test engineering team.
• Provide impact assessments for product/feature changes.
• Prepare materials and vehicles for leadership ride/drive events.
• Identify and resolve cross-functional issues affecting ADAS performance.
• Develop and validate ADAS system performances on vehicles.
• Support road-map development and knowhow of ADAS features.
