Job summary

The University of Maryland, Baltimore seeks a Senior Accommodations, ADA, and Leave Specialist to serve as the subject-matter expert on workplace accommodations across ADA, PWFA, 504, and related laws. You will manage a complex caseload of accommodation requests from faculty, staff, and applicants and lead the interactive process from intake to resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, psychology, public administration, disability studies, law, or related field.
• Four years' experience administering workplace accommodations with interactive process.
• Higher education, academic medical center, healthcare, or government experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as confidential case manager for ADA/ PWFA/ religious accommodations and related matters.
• Lead interactive dialogue with employees and leadership to identify and implement accommodations.
• Draft legally compliant accommodation determinations and reassessments.
• Coordinate leave intake and adjustments and support PFML/FMLA processes.
• Maintain confidential case files and ensure audit readiness.
