University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) is hiring a Senior Accommodations, ADA, and Leave Specialist to oversee accommodations under ADA, PWFA, and related laws. The role manages complex cases, guides interactive dialogues, and coordinates leave processes across PFML, FMLA, and related programs within a hybrid Maryland workplace.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant bachelor's degree and at least four years' experience in accommodations. Hybrid work and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, industrial/organizational psychology, rehabilitation counseling, public administration, disability studies, law, or a related field.
• Four (4) years of experience in administering workplace accommodation and interactive process in a complex setting.
• Higher education/academic medical center/government experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary confidential case manager for accommodation requests, including ADA/ADAAA, PWFA, and Title VII.
• Lead interactive dialogue with employees, supervisors, and HR to identify and implement accommodations.
• Draft legally compliant accommodation resolutions and reassessments.
• Coordinate intake of leave requests and manage PFML and FMLA interactions.
• Maintain confidential case files and audit-ready documentation.
