Jobgether is seeking a backend-focused engineer to help design and evaluate next-generation AI-driven hiring tools. You will work on building deterministic verification scripts, test suites, and challenging backend tasks using Python, Java, or Rust.

You will assess AI-generated solutions for correctness and performance, contribute to software architecture decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully remote US environment.

Qualifications

• Significant backend development experience and strong programming skills in Python, Java, Rust, or similar.
• Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, system design, and software architecture.
• Extensive experience with automated testing, debugging, and code review.

Responsibilities

• Contribute technical expertise to training and evaluation of next-generation AI systems.
• Design coding tasks covering feature implementation, bug fixing, refactoring, and optimization.
• Develop deterministic verification scripts and comprehensive test cases.
• Apply backend engineering expertise to create practical engineering challenges.
• Evaluate AI-generated solutions for correctness, maintainability, and performance.
