Expedia Group is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer III to help build advertiser-facing experiences and backend services. You will work on scalable distributed systems, and leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance workflows and automation.

You will collaborate with product managers, UX designers, data scientists, and other engineers to deliver measurable advertiser value while maintaining high-quality code, tests, and observability practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE or C#, with integration of services and databases.
• Experience with cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement backend APIs and services powering UI experiences and advertiser workflows.
• Build and optimize services for campaign management and optimization across the advertising network.
• Improve reliability, scalability, and latency of mission-critical systems.
