You will conduct studies, guide valuation models, and represent PBGC at conferences on critical technical issues, contributing to policy and program implementation across the federal sector.

Qualifications

• Specialized Experience applying actuarial principles to multi-employer defined benefit plans.
• Experience evaluating effects of changes in the pension environment on multiemployer plans.
• Experience advising on pension issues to plan sponsors and presenting recommendations.
• EA/ASA/FSA credential preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide actuarial analysis and technical advice on complex matters with national PBGC impact.
• Identify emerging issues and prepare position papers for senior PBGC staff.
• Conduct studies and guide valuation models used by PBGC.
• Represent PBGC at conferences and meetings on technical issues.
