Qualifications

• Specialized experience at GS-13 level in Federal service, or equivalent in private sector with litigation experience.
• Experience in ERISA, Bankruptcy, Administrative Law, Corporate Transactional Law, or Complex Civil Litigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel, interpretation, and advice on program matters of the Corporation.
• Conduct litigation in cases of all sizes and represent the agency in court.
• Advocate agency positions.
• Investigate complex facts and review statutes, policies, regulations, and directives.
• Negotiate with plan administrators and attorneys on complex documents.
