Job summary

Mobilitas, created by CSAA Insurance Group, is hiring a Senior Commercial Actuarial Reserving Manager to lead reserving reviews, recruit and mentor staff, and partner with internal and external clients in a remote-first setting across the United States (excluding Hawaii and Alaska).

The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and delivering timely analyses while driving process improvements and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area with 6 years post‑bachelor actuarial analysis experience.
• Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area with 4 years experience in actuarial analysis.
• 1+ years of leadership experience.
• 3+ years of Reserving experience.
• ACAS (Associate in Casualty Actuarial Society).
• Solid understanding of the market landscape.
• Strong decision‑making, leadership and motivational skills.
• Ability to coach, mentor, evaluate and provide training to professional staff.

Responsibilities

• Leads monthly booking and quarterly reserve reviews.
• Communicates reserve results to senior leaders.
• Drives process improvement across the team.
• Provides effective challenge to leadership.
• Develops and maintains relationships with internal/external clients.
• Reviews Analysts' work and ensures timely project completion.
• Manages and trains Actuarial Analysts.
• Oversees team time/workload and advises leadership.
