Job summary

Mobilitas, created by CSAA Insurance Group, is hiring a Senior Commercial Actuarial Reserving Manager to lead reserving reviews, mentor analysts, and guide cross-functional teams from a remote, nationwide location in the United States (excluding Hawaii and Alaska).

You will manage and train actuarial staff, communicate results to senior leadership, and foster collaborations with internal and external clients while driving process improvements across the team.

Qualifications

• BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area with 6+ years of post-bachelor stats/actuarial work on personal or commercial lines.
• Graduate degree with 4+ years of relevant experience in stats/actuarial analysis on personal or commercial lines.
• 1+ years of leadership experience.
• 3+ years of Reserving experience.
• ACAS certification.
• Strong market landscape understanding.
• Decisive leadership and coaching ability.
• Ability to mentor professional staff and guide projects.

Responsibilities

• Leads monthly booking and quarterly reserve reviews.
• Communicates reserve results to senior leaders.
• Drives process improvement across the team.
• Challenges leadership effectively.
• Develops and maintains client relationships via projects.
• Oversees Analysts' work and ensures timely project completion.
• Trains Actuarial Analysts and manages team workload.
• Discusses with partners to achieve objectives with limited resources.
