The role focuses on building Power BI and Alteryx tools, modeling financial results, applying insurance knowledge, and mentoring actuaries. You will drive AI initiatives and ensure documentation and regulatory compliance across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics or business required.
• 8–10 years of actuarial experience preferred.
• Experience leading projects or supervising others preferred.
• Strong mathematical ability and attention to detail with analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including presenting to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to apply insurance industry knowledge to actuarial work and models.
• Experience building Power BI tools and Alteryx workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate actuarial governance and controls; serve as primary contact for audits.
• Develop and enhance analytical tools and data processes, including Power BI reporting and Alteryx workflows.
• Support AI initiatives within actuarial functions; assess new products and incorporate into models.
• Oversee regulatory compliance materials and process enhancements.
• Develop and implement actuarial assumptions; justify recommendations with data.
• Create, interpret, and explain complex financial models and projections.
• Govern data systems, analysis techniques, and documentation.
• Monitor and manage actuarial risk; present analyses to management.
• Lead multiple projects and mentor actuaries/analysts.
