Job summary

Sammons Financial Group Companies is seeking an experienced actuary to lead governance, governance controls, and cross‑functional analytics. The role focuses on developing tools and data processes, including AI, to drive informed decisions across business units.

You will manage audits, enhance Power BI reporting, and guide the team in actuarial modeling and risk assessment, collaborating with multiple departments while upholding the company’s values and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics or related field required.
• 8-10 years' experience in actuarial science preferred.
• Strong governance, audits, and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate actuarial governance and controls; primary audits contact.
• Develop and enhance analytical tools and data processes.
• Apply artificial intelligence to actuarial processes and assess new products.
• Model assumptions and perform financial projections with well-documented data.
• Collaborate with other departments and present to management.
