Blue Cross NC seeks a Principal Actuarial Data Systems Analyst to deliver technical data support and innovative solutions for actuarial financial data systems and data marts. You will lead requirements, design data structures, and guide cross-functional teams through implementation and audits.

The role emphasizes data integrity, monthly refreshes, and collaboration with finance and actuarial groups to ensure accurate quarterly and year-end reporting. Hybrid-flex work model with remote options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience in actuarial data systems or related fields
• In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field

Responsibilities

• Develop complex decision support data solutions, data extracts, reports, data marts, and analyses across the full development lifecycle.
• Perform monthly data refreshes, validations, automations, and QA for executive financial reporting.
• Manage maintenance and optimization of Actuarial Systems Data Marts and related data stores.
• Lead multiple application areas, defining data structures, business rules, and requirements governance.
• Analyze business challenges, create recommendations, implement solutions, and communicate results.
