Job summary
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina is seeking a Senior Actuarial Data Systems Analyst to provide technical data support and develop innovative solutions for actuarial financial data systems. You will identify business needs, analyze requirements, and implement data-driven improvements.
The role focuses on maintaining actuarial data marts, performing monthly validations, leading cross‑functional projects, and delivering clear technical guidance to project teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required.
- 5+ years of related field experience; or 7+ years without a degree.
- Blue Cross NC will not sponsor employment authorization.
Responsibilities
- Manage Actuarial Systems Data Marts maintenance and optimization.
- Perform monthly data refreshes, financial validations and QA checks.
- Analyze business problems, develop and implement solutions with clear results.
- Lead multiple application areas: data definitions, file structure and business rules.
- Provide technical leadership and liaise with business teams during projects.
- Plan as a key liaison with business areas during development and implementation.
