Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior Actuarial Data Systems Analyst to provide technical data support and develop solutions for actuarial financial data systems. You will identify business requirements, analyze needs, and implement solutions to ensure data quality and accuracy.

The role includes leading multiple application areas, providing technical leadership, and collaborating with business partners in a Hybrid-Flex environment with remote options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).
• 5+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Manages maintenance and optimization of Actuarial Systems Data Marts.
• Performs monthly data refreshes, financial validations and QA checks for Actuarial reporting.
• Analyze business problems, develop recommendations, implement solutions and communicate results.
• Develop decision-support solutions including medical and pharmacy claim data builds, data extracts and reports.
• Ensure auditable, snapshotted data for quarterly and year-end audits.
• Establish vendor and inter-departmental relationships to ensure data accuracy.
