Job summary
Blue Cross NC seeks a Senior Actuarial Data Systems Analyst to provide technical data support and innovate actuarial financial data systems. You will lead data mart maintenance, perform validations, and translate business needs into robust data solutions.
The role requires 5+ years in the field and a strong background in SQL, healthcare claims data, and analytics, with leadership experience on projects and cross-department collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required; equivalent experience considered.
- 5+ years of experience in related field; 7+ years if no degree.
- 5+ years of SQL Development/Analysis experience preferred.
- Healthcare claims data and analytics experience highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Manage maintenance and optimization of Actuarial Systems Data Marts.
- Perform monthly data refreshes, validations and QA for actuarial reporting.
- Analyze business problems, develop and implement data solutions.
- Develop decision support solutions using medical and pharmacy data.
- Ensure auditable, snapshotted financial detail data for audits.
