Job summary
Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior Actuarial Data Systems Analyst to provide technical data support and develop innovative solutions for actuarial financial data systems. You will identify business requirements, analyze needs, and implement solutions to ensure data quality and accuracy.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree required or 5+ years related experience in lieu of degree.
- 5+ years of experience in actuarial data systems or related field preferred.
- Experience with healthcare data analytics is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage maintenance and optimization of Actuarial Systems Data Marts.
- Perform monthly data refreshes, financial validations and quality assurance checks.
- Analyze business problems, develop recommendations, implement solutions, and communicate results.
- Develop decision support solutions including medical and pharmacy claim data, data extracts, reports and data marts.
- Ensure data granularity is auditable and stored for audits.
- Lead multiple application areas with responsibilities over data definitions and file structures.
